Finland was a nation in transition in the 1960s. Domestic industries were modernizing, and new materials and innovations were finding their way into everyday life. In 1966, a name was registered that would make its mark on the history of Finnish sleep: Familon.

Even then, we believed that good sleep is the purest form of wellbeing – and in the North, we know how to sleep wisely. Our goal was clear: to create mattresses and pillows that make sleep better for everyone, every night.
