Washing Instructions
- Use only 1/3 of the normal amount of detergent.
- Shape the damp duvet and make sure the filling is evenly spread.
- Dry in a tumble dryer or flat on a surface, fluffing it up from time to time.
- The SFS-EN 16779-1:2018 standard prohibits dry cleaning of children’s blankets.
Warnings
- Make sure the duvet does not cover the child’s face.
- Do not store the duvet near fire.
- Do not use the duvet together with a sleeping bag or another blanket.
Quality standarts
The purpose of the standard is to reduce risks in babies’ sleeping environments. The EU standard defines the product safety requirements for children up to 36 months in cots of similar sleeping environments. The new safety requirements aim to prevent the risk for strangulation, asphyxiation, falling, getting caught, and hyperthermia, or overheating.Familon have always designed products for babies and children to be safe and to provide sound sleep. No harmful substances are used, so they suit even the most sensitive. Familon duvets for children and babies have passed safety test required by the standard. Testing the tog rating of duvets, as required by the standard, ensures that the duvet is not too warm and keeps below a specific limit. Instructions for baby and child duvets
Familon Original baby duvet, Familon Original children’s duvet and Familon Original Print children’s duvet are recommended to be used in room temperatures between 18 and 20 °C. We recommend that you use footie pyjamas with the above products.
The Familon Original baby duvet (80 x 120 cm) is only suitable for beds that are at least 60 x 120 cm in size.
Familon Original children's duvet and Familon Original Print (115 x 150 cm) are suitable for beds of at least 75 x 130 cm in size.
Check the duvet regularly and get a new one if it is damaged.

Children's duvets
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash the duvet once or twice a year. Just one-third of the normal amount of detergent is sufficient.
- Straighten into original shape when moist and ensure that the filling is even.
- Tumble dry or dry in an airy place and fluff up from time to time.
- Standard SFS-EN 16779-1:2018 forbids the dry cleaning of children’s duvets.
