5 years full warranty

We give Familon beds a full five-year warranty as proof of the high quality of the product.

The full warranty covers material and manufacturing defects in all parts of the bed, including the springs, frame and cushions, excluding the adjustable bed motor and adjustable base which have a two-year warranty, as well as mattresses and covers. The warranty covers loose seams, damaged springs, a broken frame or significant dents in the bed.

By taking care of your bedding product properly, you ensure that it serves you for as long as possible, while saving natural resources.

15 year structural warranty

The 15-year structural warranty on the beds ensures that you will receive compensation for structural defects even after five years of use. The structural warranty covers a broken or detached spring, as well as frame damage.

REMEMBER THE COVERS AND THE REPLACEMENT INTERVAL

With a moisture-proof mattress cover, you protect your bed from damage; a clean bed lasts longer in use. We recommend replacing your box spring bed about every ten years, it is hygienic and good for your sleep quality. It is a good idea to replace your mattress with a new one about every five years.

Bed is for sleeping

Normal use of the bed

Beds and mattresses are designed for sleeping only. A bed is not a sofa, do not sit on the edge of the bed or mattress for a long time, so that the edge does not sink.

The weight of the sleeper affects the service life of the bed. A single bed is designed to withstand the normal weight of one person and a double bed the normal weight of two people. Beds up to 120 cm wide are considered single beds.

The motor of the adjustable bed is intended for raising and lowering the headboards of the bed to adjust the sleeping position. The adjustable bed is not a toy, adjust the sleeping position to a suitable one at a time and let the motor rest between adjustments. Avoid excessive load on the motor and mechanism, such as sitting on the headboard or footboard with them raised.

Warranty validity

We have extended the warranty terms, this Familon bed warranty is valid for products purchased after June 1, 2024. The warranty period for the Familon bed starts from the date of purchase of the product. The full warranty is valid for five years from the date of purchase and the structural warranty for 15 years from the date of purchase. The warranty is only valid when the purchase can be verified by presenting a receipt, order confirmation or other proof of the origin and time of purchase of the product.

The warranty applies to home use and is personal:

The warranty only applies to Familon beds used in home use. The warranty is not passed on to the next user if you sell the used product on.

Product selection and warranty:

Choices matter. The warranty does not cover replacing a product that is unsuitable for you or that has been incorrectly selected, as this is not a manufacturing defect.

Tolerance:

The materials used in Familon beds are elastic and flexible. This means that the length, width and height of the beds and mattresses may vary somewhat. The full warranty for beds covers defects in the flexible cushioning material due to faulty manufacturing or material changes that cause a visible notch or abnormal indentation.

The warranty requires normal care and use of the bed:

Regularly turn the bed lengthwise about twice a year, which will distribute the load more evenly on the spring system. Check the bed leg attachment regularly. The bed must not be dragged along the floor, as the bed leg attachment may be damaged.

Even high-quality springs stretch and the cushion structure becomes fatigued over time, and wear and tear of the materials is natural. The warranty for Familon beds does not cover normal wear, cuts or scratches, stains or defects caused by impacts or accidents. The warranty does not apply to products that have been stored or installed incorrectly or that have been used contrary to the instructions for use, inappropriately or incorrectly, outdoors or in damp areas, modified or cleaned incorrectly or with incorrect cleaning agents.

Receiving and putting the product into operation:

Upon receipt, check that the product is flawless and that the delivery includes all parts of the product you ordered. If the product has been damaged in transit, request a note on the consignment note or request that the product be returned to the sender. In case of problems, contact the product seller.

Give your body time to get used to the new bed and find sleep again. It takes about a month to get used to a new bed, during which the body gets used to the changed sleeping position.

The materials of a new bed have a certain characteristic smell, the smell is completely harmless and will disappear on its own over time. You can get rid of the initial smell faster by pressing the bed upholstery while vacuuming it.

Products not covered by this warranty:

The full warranty and structural warranty for Familon beds do not apply to mattress toppers, foam mattresses, children's mattresses or covers. The warranty only applies to Familon branded beds. The warranty does not apply to second-quality products and sample pieces, or to Familon beds purchased for professional use, e.g. for accommodation purposes.

To verify the defect, be prepared to present a picture and a description of the problem. Also be prepared to verify the date of purchase by presenting a receipt or order confirmation. Each complaint is handled on a case-by-case basis, the proper use of the product is verified and it is assessed whether the warranty covers the defect in it.

Application of local legislation:

The buyer has the rights granted to him under Chapter 5 of the Consumer Protection Act, which this warranty does not restrict. The warranty does not cover indirect damage or damage caused by the use of the product.
