Properties

High-quality Familon percale sheets are made from 100% cotton, a natural material that is breathable and highly moisture-wicking. Cotton percale is woven in a plain weave so tightly from extremely thin, tightly twisted threads that it is difficult to distinguish the individual threads. Familon cotton percale fabric is not stonewashed. The cotton percale fabric used in percale duvet covers, pillowcases, and fitted sheets is extremely durable and easy to care for.

The woven line pattern remains unchanged from wash to wash, as the pattern is formed during the weaving stage from different colored threads in the fabric structure; the pattern is not printed onto the fabric afterwards.

The high-quality Percale pillowcases in the Familon Home collection are not only wonderfully soft to the touch, but also easy to care for and suitable for even the most sensitive skin. Percale sheets are ideal for people with dust allergies due to their dense, dust-repellent structure.

Structure

The Familon Viivasto Percale pillowcase includes one standard-sized pillowcase measuring 55x65 cm. One side of the pillowcase has an opening and a flap on the inside that keeps the pillow securely inside the pillowcase. Familon's percale cotton duvet covers, pillowcases, and fitted sheets have a thread count (TC) of 200 threads per square inch.

Washing and care instructions

Wash the Familon Viivasto Percale pillowcase at 60 °C.

Wash pillowcases with bed linen of the same color, inside out. Wash dark bedding separately when washing it for the first time. Always remember to wash new bedding before use. After washing, cotton percale tends to be slightly more wrinkled than cotton satin if the product is not ironed or pressed.
