Mattress properties

The uniquely comfortable Familon Smart children’s mattress is ideal for play-age children moving from a cot to their first bed. The children’s mattress comes in a regular size of 75x130 cm and is compatible with a standard-size top mattress for kids, height approx. 9 cm. The Original top mattress, available to order separately, adds the finishing touch to a good night’s sleep and makes bed care easier.

This product includes an extension, which makes the mattress ideal for extendable beds. With the extension, the children’s mattress is suitable for primary school children, as it is 75x160 cm in size when the extension is used. The extension is placed at the foot of the bed. It has no moisture protection. When extending the bed for a primary school child, replace the top mattress with a new one of a suitable size, and check the condition of the mattress to promote hygiene and sleep quality.

In addition to beneficial technical properties and a lovely feel, the Smart children’s mattress is easy care and suitable for the most sensitive sleepers.

Mattress structure

Children need products of their own size, designed specifically for them. The Familon Smart extendable mattress, which provides a small child’s body with ergonomic support, features an upper layer of wonderfully soft, smart memory foam filling, and a thicker layer of highly supportive special filling underneath, made of 100% polyurethane foam.

The mattress’s washable cover features a comfortable, flexible knit with breathable moisture protection underneath, and a zipper on three sides. The mattress is delivered roll-packed.

Additional information

Mattresses containing smart filling that adjusts to body heat and weight harden when aired outside at sub-zero temperatures. This is completely natural. Carefully move the mattress inside as is, and let it warm up. Smart filling may also feel harder than usual if the bedroom temperature is low. However, the smart filling, which reacts to body temperature and weight, will soften as the child goes to bed.
