Both the top mattress cover and the top mattress can be washed frequently, keeping the top mattress cleaner for a long time. The cover stays well in place thanks to the elastic bands in the corners. The Original Tikki top mattress cover is suitable for people with sensitive skin, and you can wash it at 60 °C. The top layer of the mattress cover is made of organic cotton, and the filling is soft wadding made of recycled polyester. It can also be used as a top mattress on top of a foam mattress for a light sleeper or children. The Original Tikki top mattress protector is available for a single or double bed.

Completely washable with water, the Familon Original Tikki top mattress protector makes mattress care so much easier. During the night, humidity from the sleeper is absorbed by the breathable mattress cover, from which it is also evaporated quickly, keeping the mattress cover below clean. The quilted mattress cover is easy to wash and it also dries quickly.

The top mattress cover is kept between the sheet and top mattress to make the bed better comfort and ease of care. The mattress cover protects the mattress from dirt and general wear and tear, extending its useful life. The elastic bands in the corners of the quilted mattress cover are slipped under the top mattress corners, keeping the cover firmly in place.

It is also suitable as a thin top mattress for added comfort on top of a foam mattress for a light sleeper or for children. The white, quilted mattress cover fits into a small space and is an ideal cover for a guest mattress.

Structure

Choose the Original Tikki top mattress protector for a good night’s sleep. You’ll also make an environmentally friendly choice, as the top layer is traceable GOTS-certified organic cotton, with 100% polyester filling as wadding, made of recycled polyester processed from PET bottles.

The top mattress cover is quilt-stitched. Quilt-stitching means that the stitches go through the cover and filling, ensuring that the filling stays in place also during wash. Quilt-stitching is a method used for most duvets, too, and a quilt-stitched mattress cover actually resembles a duvet in a way, only a bit firmer.

Contains one top mattress cover in a few sizes: 160 and 180 cm for a double bed, and 80, 90 or 120 cm for single beds. The mattress cover is 200 cm long with a thickness of 1 to 2 cm, lower at the stitch.

Washing and care instructions

The easy-care, quilted Original Tikki top mattress protector is completely water washable at 60°C, pull into shape while wet. Dimension changes when washed according to instructions 4 to 6%. When cared for properly, the top mattress will remain in good condition long into the future.
