Mattress properties
The zoneless Familon pocket spring system of the body-supporting and flexible Familon Original spring mattress follows the contours of the body as you sleep to provide excellent support. The surface is made of quilted knit for a highly pleasant feel. In addition to providing desirable technical features, appearance and feel, the mattress is suitable for allergy sufferers.
The Original spring mattress is available in single sizes of 80x200 cm and 90x200 cm. For a fantastic double bed, place two box spring mattresses side by side and choose a double-width top mattress. The mattress is around 18 cm high. The Familon Original mattress provides superior sleeping comfort night in, night out.
Mattress structure
The top-quality Familon Original spring mattress consists of a pocket spring system with 100% steel springs in a non-woven fabric bag, with 100% polyurethane foam padding on the surface. The mattress cover is made of quilted 100% polyester knit and has a zip fastener on all four sides. Handy carrying handles on one side of the mattress make it easy to move around. Feet cannot be attached to the mattress.

The mattress gives the body good support – with the addition of a top mattress, you’re guaranteed a soft feel for a great night’s sleep. Simply choose the Familon top mattress that suits you best. To go with a spring mattress, we recommend a top mattress that is at least 6 cm thick.
The Familon Original spring mattress is roll-packed for easy transportation. The rolled-up mattress can be used immediately after unpacking, but it may take a few days for it to expand to its full thickness. Open the package right away, since long-term storage in a tight roll may change the dimensions of the mattress.
Due to the airtight packaging method, the new mattress may initially have the typical odour of plastic foam. The odour is completely harmless and will evaporate over time. You can get rid of the odour faster by pressing the mattress while vacuuming it.
The spring mattress is a hygiene product. To ensure product hygiene, it is non-returnable.
