Bed properties

The Familon Original frame bed is a high-quality frame bed that is suitable for most people and different situations in life.

The Familon Original frame bed supports the body and is comfortably flexible. Its structure combines the zone-free Familon pocket springs with supportive Familon Bonnel lower springs. The pocket springs conform to the contours of the body, while the lower springs make the box spring bed more durable and supportive.

In addition to having beneficial technical properties and a pleasant appearance and feel, the Original frame bed is environmentally friendly and suitable for allergy sufferers. The frame bed is made of the best materials in an environmentally friendly way.

Bed structure

The Familon Original frame bed features a double-spring system with pocket springs on top and Bonnel springs below. The springs are made of 100% steel, while the filling on top is made of 100% polyurethane foam. The frame of the bed is made of softwood.

The frame bed is upholstered in high-quality dark grey fabric (48% polypropylene/32% polyethylene/20% polyester) and has an Antislip fabric on the surface.

The Original frame bed is available in three sizes (designed for one person): 80x200 cm, 90x200 cm and 120x200 cm. The height of the frame bed without legs is approx. 26 cm. Use the bed legs to adjust the height of the bed and customize the bed to match the decor of your home. Place two frame beds side by side and choose a double-wide top mattress to make a comfortable double bed.

When properly cared for, the Familon Original frame bed will provide a good night’s sleep long into the future. The frame bed stays clean and fresh when vacuumed from time to time. Regularly turn the bed lengthwise to distribute the load more evenly over the spring system. This will extend the lifespan of the bed. Check the attachment of the bed legs regularly.

Replacing the bed

Replace the frame bed every 8 years to ensure good hygiene and sleep quality.

Free parcel delivery to Friends for purchases over 120€, when the delivery price is max 10 euros. Log in to get free delivery to the pick-up point of your choice. Shipping from 5,90€ for purchases under 120 euros.

Home delivery from 9,90€ to small items and from 59€ to larger items. The price is based on shipment size and the delivery address zip code and delivery country. Beds and large mattresses via home delivery only. If home delivery is not offered, it is not available to the address you have chosen.

Most of the products are available immediately from our warehouse. Delivery time for stock items is 3–8 business days to Finland, to other EU countries 5–10 the business days. Check the product-specific delivery time.
