Mattress properties

The Familon Original thick foam mattress is particularly suitable for light to medium-weight sleepers, including children and teens, providing pleasantly firm support. The comfortably soft, contoured cushioning on one side adapts readily to your body, or you can choose the other side for firmer support. The profiling of the padding increases the softness of the mattress and improves air circulation.

Mattress structure

The Familon Original foam mattress is filled with a soft 100% polyurethane padding, with one side contoured and the other smooth. The mattress cover is made of high-quality 100% polyester knit, quilted with 200 g of polyester filling for increased surface softness. The cover has a zip on three sides for easy removal and washing as necessary.

The pack contains one roll-packed Original mattress (80 x 200 cm), height approx. 13 cm.

Additional information

The Familon Original flippable mattress is roll-packed for easy transportation. The rolled-up mattress can be used immediately after unpacking, but it may take a few days for it to expand to its full thickness. Open the package right away, since long-term storage in a tight roll may change the dimensions of the mattress.

Due to the airtight packaging method, the new mattress may initially have the typical odour of foam. This is completely harmless and will disappear over time. You can get rid of the odour faster by pressing the mattress while vacuuming it.

The Familon Original foam mattress is a hygiene product. To ensure product hygiene, it is non-returnable.

Care instructions

Washing and care instructions for the mattress

The Familon Original foam mattress cover can be machine-washed at 60°C. The filling is not washable. The knit cover has a zip on three sides to facilitate easy removal for washing.

Mattress replacement interval

For continued hygiene and sleep quality, foam mattresses should be replaced every six years.

Free parcel delivery to Friends for purchases over 120€, when the delivery price is max 10 euros. Log in to get free delivery to the pick-up point of your choice. Shipping from 5,90€ for purchases under 120 euros.

Home delivery from 9,90€ to small items and from 59€ to larger items. The price is based on shipment size and the delivery address zip code and delivery country. Beds and large mattresses via home delivery only. If home delivery is not offered, it is not available to the address you have chosen.

Most of the products are available immediately from our warehouse. Delivery time for stock items is 3–8 business days to Finland, to other EU countries 5–10 the business days. Check the product-specific delivery time.

For international orders there are no customs duties to be paid at delivery! The Value Added Tax (VAT) is collected at the point of sale, in the VAT rate of the delivery country. Wendre Finland Oy is registered to One Stop Shop (OSS) for intra-EU e-commerce. EU OSS number FI24858490.
