Top mattress properties

When it comes to safe and sound sleep, children need products of their own size, designed specifically for them. The high-quality Familon Original top mattress is suitable for most cots. The top mattress for babies is of standard size, 60x120 cm, and thus compatible with a standard-sized baby mattress. Select the Original top mattress for ultimate sleeping comfort and easier cot care.

The package only contains a top mattress. The mattress must be purchased separately.

In addition to featuring beneficial technical properties and a lovely feel, the Original top mattress for babies is easy to care for and suitable for allergy sufferers.

Top mattress structure

The Original top mattress for a baby mattress is filled with fluffy and breathable 100% Hollofil® Eco recycled polyester (rPet), 400 g/m². The filling is made of secondary raw material sourced from recycled PET bottles. It takes 10 PET bottles to make one top mattress.

The cover of the top mattress for babies is made of durable, easy-care polyester (65%) and cotton (35%). The top mattress is quilt-stitched and edged with white piping.

The new Familon Original top mattress is similar to the prior Familon Hiphop top mattress.

The Original top mattress is a hygiene product. To ensure product hygiene, it is non-returnable.

Washing and care instructions for the top mattress

Wash the Familon Original top mattress at 60 degrees.

The top mattress for babies can be washed as often as necessary. This quilted top mattress will shrink somewhat when washed, so it needs to be straightened into shape when wet.

When cared for properly, the Original top mattress will remain in good condition long into the future. Air and wash the top mattress to keep it hygienic and fresh. Invest in a new mattress and top mattress for your baby to ensure good bed hygiene and sleep quality.

Free parcel delivery to Friends for purchases over 120€, when the delivery price is max 10 euros. Log in to get free delivery to the pick-up point of your choice. Shipping from 5,90€ for purchases under 120 euros.

Home delivery from 9,90€ to small items and from 59€ to larger items. The price is based on shipment size and the delivery address zip code and delivery country. Beds and large mattresses via home delivery only. If home delivery is not offered, it is not available to the address you have chosen.

Most of the products are available immediately from our warehouse. Delivery time for stock items is 3–8 business days to Finland, to other EU countries 5–10 the business days. Check the product-specific delivery time.
