The Familon connector mechanism will keep separate frame beds and continental bed frames firmly together. The durable connector mechanism prevents the bed frames from moving apart and stops the annoying crack from appearing in the middle of the double bed. The connector mechanism will lock in place when the beds are pushed together and can be released by lifting one of the beds upwards. The beds are easy to separate when cleaning, and pushed together again. The product includes two connector mechanisms for both ends of the beds. The Familon double bed connector mechanism fits all Familon beds and continental beds. The connector mechanism is attached to the plywood frame with wood screws to connect two bed frames tightly together. Features and mounting

The Familon double bed connector mechanism includes two connector mechanisms, one for both ends of the bed.

The connector mechanism is installed by screwing the matching parts either to the corners of the bed frames at the frame plywood or to the base slats so that they are aligned when the beds are placed side by side. In adjustable beds, the mechanism must always be attached to the corners of the bed, not to the moving wooden slats of the adjustable base. With the matching parts in place, place the beds side by side the right way up and press them tightly together to lock the connector mechanism.

The connector mechanism can be unlocked by slightly lifting up the bed that does not have the black hooks. First, lift one side of the bed up to release the lock and do the same for the other side. The beds are now separated and you can easily clean under the beds.

The product also includes the wooden spacers shown in the pictures, to help fit the connector mechanism to different bed frames. The spacers are used only when necessary according to the installation instructions delivered with the product.
