Thanks to its cut-to-shape interior, the specially profiled Familon Flex mattress is ideal for adjustable beds, such as motorized beds. The flexible and sturdy Flex mattress provides ergonomic support for all body types up to a weight of approx. 150 kg. The mattress is available in two sizes of 80x200 and 90x200 cm, height approx. 14 cm. The Familon Flex mattress is a home-delivery product that is delivered flat packed.

Mattress properties

The specially profiled Familon Flex mattress is ideal for an adjustable bed, such as a motorized bed, a care bed or a bed for the elderly. The mattress offers particularly good ergonomic support, and its excellent supportive properties make it good for the back. The Flex mattress is intended for persons who weigh 60–150 kg. The mattress can also be used outside these weight limits, but if the mattress is used continuously by a much heavier person, its useful life may be shortened. The mattress is double-sided and works perfectly in adjustable beds thanks to the cut-to-shape interior.

Mattress structure

The Familon Flex mattress is filled with flexible 100% polyurethane foam. The mattress cover is made of high-quality 100% polyester knit quilted with 200 g of polyester filling that increases surface softness. The cover has a zip on three sides for removal and washing as necessary.Contains one flat-packed mattress in the size of your choice. The thickness of the mattress is approx. 14 cm.

Additional information

The new mattress may initially have a slight odour that is typical of plastic foam. The odour is completely harmless and will disappear over time. You can make the odour evaporate faster by pressing the mattress while vacuuming it.

The Familon Flex mattress is a hygiene product. For reasons of product hygiene, it is non-returnable.

Care instructions

Washing and care instructions for the mattress

The removable cover can be machine-washed at 60 °C. The filling is not washable.

When cared for properly, the Familon Flex mattress will retain its properties to give a good night’s sleep for a long time. The mattress stays clean and fresh if it is vacuumed from time to time. Regularly turn the mattress over lengthwise so that it retains its shape for longer.

Mattress replacement interval

Replace the foam mattress every six to eight years to keep your bed hygienic and fresh.
